Although I am not a big fan of Valentines Day – in my mother’s words “everyday should be Valentine’s Day”.
I thought I would share my inspirations for creating a romantic picnic for two.

Obviously the food and champagne are essential, but for myself and the girl’s at Bellamee it’s so much more than that. Having a romantic picnic is about creating or finding the perfect setting whether it’s in your backyard or a quiet spot looking out to sea.

I love this part of year when Sydney really starts to celebrate summer and the hot days just seem to meld into each other. Living down in Bondi, I’m a huge fan of the outdoor cinema, after work picnics on the grass in North Bondi or even just in my back garden.

Christmas in Bondi


 
 
I came across this gorgeous photo the other day. It was taken on Bondi beach Christmas 1959. The picture is so chic in it’s retro appeal and so on trend for this seasons current swimwear looks.
 
So glad the sun is out again today – suddenly picnics are the perfect laidback evening plan!
